What does your company do?

At Aligned Growth, we help high-ticket coaches scale their businesses to 6-figure months with systems and online group programs.

We are a done-with-you service focused on helping female entrepreneurs scale their businesses without adding more to their workload.

Where were you before Scaling With Systems? 

Before working with Scaling With Systems, our service was highly customized. We’d have an entirely different process for each client that we’d sign on and spend hours customizing our services based on their needs.

I had a business partner and we were doing creative ads, our team was massive and our margins were non-existent so it was impossible for us to grow.

How did you find Scaling With Systems, and what made you decide to work with us? 

I first saw Scaling With Systems through 1 or 2 of your YouTube Videos. At that point we were still doing our done-for-you service and I knew that I needed to pivot into a more standardized, systemized process if I wanted to scale the business.

We already pivoted our business model before signing on, but I’d constantly be turning off our ads because we couldn’t handle how quickly the leads were coming in and we wouldn’t be able to properly fulfill our services. This led to our cost per booked call to hover at around $75 to $80, so it wasn’t pretty.

What did you immediately recognize that needed fixing inside your business?

The main thing was effectively pivoting our business model into a done-with-you model. We needed to eliminate unnecessary processes and SWS was immediately able to help with that. Ravi easily identified the systems we didn’t actually need, the people we didn’t need, and the systems that needed automating. We were really able to cut the baggage early on.

More than sales and marketing, I realized we needed to focus on systems, client success, and fulfillment.

We needed to transfer over from Slack to Asana because trying to do anything in Slack was nearly impossible for me. It would take a team of 5 people just for something like a funnel build/design. It was taking way too much of my time.

One thing I still struggle with to this day is being the biggest bottleneck. I always think that there’s a certain way to do things and I’m constantly running up against myself, my ego gets in the way and that’s something I didn’t even realize before joining SWS.

What were some big wins that occurred inside your business once we identified these problems?

Our services were now productized, even though we still had custom elements to what we do, we now have a much more systemized, templatized process. This has allowed us to no longer put a pause on our ads and take on more calls and clients.

The entire fulfillment process has been streamlined. It’s really step by step and the team is able to just flow on it now. Since we moved to Asana, we now have a standardized client pipeline where we already have the process and are able to just move things through it. This was huge for us as we used to have custom projects for each client, and that’s not even a thing anymore.

In terms of operations and hiring, a customer success lead is something we never really had previously, because it was a totally different environment. SWS was also so helpful with finding us a closer, who we got from another one of their clients. I think the biggest change was that we were able to find people who align with our values, which is something Ravi always reminds us of. We wasted a lot of time hiring and training people that weren’t a good fit in the end.

The biggest win was simply the change in my mindset of scaling. With our model before it was just so hard and it was painful every step of the way. Now that I know I can do it, scale to a million dollars, the question I ask myself is how fast do I want to go, what do I want my life to look like with this and how do I want to do that. I’ve been able to align my business with myself and my values, and make sure I’m not becoming the bottleneck again.

What are some “Before & After” results in tangible metrics you experienced in your business from working with us?

Ever since we were able to effectively pivot our offer with Scaling with Systems, we were able to make $70,000 in just 60 days. This was largely due to the fact that we no longer needed to put a pause on our ads and the calls we could take, simply because we knew our systems and processes could handle the influx of new customers.
