What does your company do?
We help detail shops scale and grow.
I ran my own detail shop for around 7 years and we were doing our own marketing. I had someone from another shop reach out to do marketing for them, and from there on out an agency was born. It’s really cool to be able to put that kind of experience into play and helping other people grown and have success in their own businesses.
Where were you before Scaling With Systems?
I came in at about 30k monthly revenue but I was my biggest limiting factor. I had the leads coming in but I was doing so much self-sabotaging because I couldn’t handle the lead flow, my fulfillment was capped off, and I couldn’t spend time with clients I had.
It was a bit of a mess, everything was pen and paper. I had all of my clients listed out on separate pieces of paper in terms of ad spend, what they’re doing, location, everything like that. I had a CRM that I would use like once a month just to make myself feel good but I wasn’t really using it effectively.
How did you find Scaling With Systems, and what made you decide to work with us?
It was actually with Joe, one of the client success managers. I was really good friends with him and he joined you guys, and he just kept raving about how awesome you guys were. I never joined a program before, I was always against them prior but he convinced me to at least hop on a call, and here I am a year and a half later.
What did you immediately recognize that needed fixing inside your business?
The main reason I joined SWS for was for fulfillment. I didn’t need help with marketing and sales, already had a great offer, but you guys literally helped out with everything and I’m happy with how it worked out.
What were some big wins that occurred inside your business once we identified these problems?
Once we started working with you we got everyone equipped into a really nice system, and going off that too it’s the onboarding process that our clients go through now. If they want to sign on, everything is now automated. Beforehand I had to do everything manually, I didn’t want to onboard more people just because the onboarding process used to take me days, and now it’s done in 2 minutes. That was the biggest thing really, and then it came down to the client success, the management, that’s all streamlined now.
And it didn’t just evolve the business, it evolved my personal life and mindset as well. I now have even more confidence to talk to potential leads because I’m confident in our ability to deliver on our offer. Overall my mental well-being is a lot better. Before working with SWS, I never had people to lean back on if I feel a certain way or am dealing with certain situations in the business, but with the team behind me, they’re able to give feedback on what to do and I’m able to learn from them.
We’re now preparing for a merger with another large car detailing agency, and the SWS team is helping with that as well. Once we complete the merger we’ll have the capacity to take on even more clients.
What are some “Before & After” results in tangible metrics you experienced in your business from working with us?
Working with you guys we were able to triple our business in just 6 months. We literally saw the growth go from $30,000, to $53,000, to $70,000, and then to $82,000. It’s been a crazy transformation from top to bottom.
What would you say to someone considering working with Scaling With Systems?
Just hop on a call because again, I mentioned before that they can shine a flashlight in corners that you may not see. For me it was adapting to my business and how I ran things. I didn’t want to go into a program and then have my whole business reworked into something that they’ve done. The team listened to me, how I run things, what I’m doing and adapted the strategies that would work for me. They don’t just copy paste systems over, it’s so customized to you, it’s like having a therapist.
