With the Coronavirus going on, my clients in the Financial Services sector here in Singapore are pretty affected due to the fact that their prospects are unwilling to meet them.
(Context: We have about 345 cases in our small sunny island).
You might find that the COVID situation might be one of the most common objections.
What has helped me in addressing these objections is to reframe how they think about this situation.
Here are some ways that may help you:
🌟 Let them know you are here to tide through this tough season with them – become their trusted advisor. Let them know that beyond just “surviving”, you are helping them to establish their digital presence so that they can thrive.
🎯 Most businesses at this time would retreat. Advertising costs are lower with people spending more time on their phones. They can now acquire new prospects for pennies on the dollar. Take this opportunity to expand their business.
📑 Extend your agreement period & offer more value – it is no surprise that businesses are hesitant to jump onboard retainers especially when they are already cutting their monthly cost. Have a “60-day” or “90-day” Transformation program where you will help them with moving digital. You might not be as profitable now, but these client relationships will pay dividends in the future.
Its a tough period we are living in, but we are entrepreneurs – we are built to thrive in such environments.

Provided them value instead of selling on price.
This family was on a Christian health share plan which is a gamble since you are relying on a group to pay your bills when they do not have to. Several of these companies have been sued.
